I can log onto my bank from the browser (FireFox 76.0.1 (32-bit), Windows 7. I can also log onto my third party email service. The problem lately (which i believe has something to do with browser settings) is when im on the bank website, and i choose to send some banking information to my email address. Historically, this has not been a problem when i use my apple computer. But i'm currently stating that this problem is with a pc windows 7. Incidentally, i have installed a Nordvpn, though the problem was going on before the install.

Specifically, i just now got off the phone with my bank, requesting them to email me something, anything. They went ahead and emailed me a security code, and again twice. Neither time did it show up in my email. I've checked spam and of course inbox to no avail. The bank and I have attempted this procedure last week with no luck. So, here i am, asking you where to look on the FireFox browser settings, or anywhere else that may be of help.

Another piece of information. We once received a lot of spam when using this computer, we don't get much junk mail and regular email since my brother said something about "...taking it up a notch", regarding him making filtering of junk or spam more stricter (that my parents were complaining about months ago.

I believe its blocking too much good email. Solutions desired, much appreciated.

Never post any personal information because an adware robot could find it, and start sending you all kinds of spam. This includes e-mail, phone, and home information.

Please remove that information from your post.

Thanks Fred, for bringing me into the 21st century regarding these forums. That was a huge mistake, unbeknownst to me. I took your suggestion.

The bank has my information (email) and I verbally confirmed it while on the phone with the cust. svc. I've received these banking transactions and received the emails successfully on this computer before.

I suppose the FireFox staff doesn't take inquiries (users problems) from the users of their browser? Or did i overlook that too?

I'll have to try the same function on another computer, when I am able to access one. 'till then i'm still open for suggestions folks.

Are you using Firefox on your e-mail, or a mail browser like Thunderbird?

They will check out any problems reported to Bugzilla.

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Have you checked this out? BTW, what is your e-mail provider?
