Confused between two identical Gmails on Windows 10 Firefox browser and Google Pixel Firefox browser.

I have a Google Pixel phone with the Firefox browser and a Windows 10 computer with a Firefox browser. When I log in to Google and choose an email on the phone's Firefox browser it shows me a different picture for my account in the upper right-hand corner than the picture it shows me when I do the same thing on my Windows computer's Firefox browser. Apparently, I somehow have the same Gmail address assigned to two different Google accounts. I can't seem to get the phone to use the same Google account as the Windows computer does.

If I delete the Gmail/Google account on the phone and then try to add it back in using the Gmail email address, it adds the account that is different from the one on my computer. I don't understand how to get both my computer and my phone to log on to the same account.

I am unclear about the distinction between a Google account and a Gmail email address.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

They should be one and the same thing.

This does not sound like an issue about Firefox for Android, but if you open the Gmail account on either of the devices and send yourself an email, when you open the inbox on the other device, can you see the email that you sent?
