You should be able to turn on dark mode by going to settings and then clicking 'customize' then adjusting themes on the bottom to "dark mode"

no that is the theme of firfox, the librray ui is light mode and the other ui interfaces have light mode even though i have catalina dark mode?

You can try to create a new Integer pref on the about:config page:

  • ui.systemUsesDarkTheme = 0:light; 1:dark; 2:no-preference
