Windows 10 Pro, Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363, Firefox Browser 72.0.2 (64-bit)

I've been using Firfox Sync for a little while, not exactly sure how long, but have recently had a problem. Sync was set to sync everything.

I've recently added new bookmark folders and new bookmarks on my Laptop, and then the next day when I've gone to use them they've disappeared. Repeated the process and exactly the same happens. Tried investigating the cause with success.

Earlier this week I added the new bookmark folder and a new bookmark. Went to use it less than an hour later and it had disappeared again. Checked what had been running on my Laptop, to see what might have been doing this, and the ONLY thing I could find that had run in the interveing period was Firefox Sync.

Modified my Firefox Sync settings so that NOTHING now gets syned, and then re-added the bookmark folder and the new bookmark. 3 days later it's still there, so obviously Firefox Sync was the cause.

What is Firefix Sync doing that it's reverting bookmarks back to a previous version? How do I know which copy it is making the master, Ive looked and been unable to find anything that tells me this?

Thanks Al
