The "Delete ..." function was removed from Firefox 71; too many users didn't understand that feature and lost their data as a result of the misunderstanding.

Quite honestly, I never saw or used that new feature for Sync over the short time period it was available. (what- 3 or 4 months??)

Simple solution is to just not user Sync on those computers. Sync has been around for like 11 years now, and one of the main rules was to not use Sync on devices that "you" don't have exclusive control over as the Sync'd data remained on that device - there was no way to remove that user data without deleting the Profile (where user data is stored).

If Mozilla thinks that feature is necessary I would expect it to be brought back down the road, with modifications to what ever was causing the misunderstanding.

How about using the Submit Feedback ...' menu item in the Help menu to let Mozilla know how you feel about that feature. Screaming (will all caps) at us and being rude in general isn't going to work towards a resolution of your complaint; the other Firefox users (especially on weekends) who come here to provide support answers as volunteers can't solve this issue - so yes, it will remain unresolved.

Edit: IMO, threads such as this only serve to push the developers towards instituting draconian measures .....

The fact that "You" do not use a function, do not opine on solutions if you do not utilize the source of the problem.
