why do you allow pages to stop move to another page. I am my computers GOD not some criminal page hijackers

I went to some page trying to sell me stuff at a "discount" but repeatedly could not move off the page without clicking some buttons on said page, Naturally I did not do so but killed the tab. Why does mozilla enable these criminal hijackers to take over their software. I am GOD on my computer and should not be impeded by criminal capitalist organizations hijacking my browser and in such a blatant way. Why does Mozzilla allow this? whos side are you criminal enablers on really?

For example, do you mean the page showed a dialog similar to the following (the beforeunload prompt):

Or was it something else such as going full screen to hide the tab bar, etc.?

If you want to provide a link to a badly behaved site, please add a space in the domain (for example, break .com into .c om) so no one goes to it accidentally. Thanks.
