bookmarks and profiles dissapeared after update

after update to 70 next day booted up to sync instead of home page. tried the solutions but don't have any history of profiles or bookmarks. only profile is from the boot-up 11-4 . does Firefox have any of my older profiles and bookmarks/passwords? help help i have nothing left thanks kim

Open the bookmarks backup file in Notepad. 

Your old bookmarks, hopefully,
are listed there. In Chrome,

go to Settings > Advanced sync settings 

(under the Sign in section) and
change the sync settings so
that Bookmarks aren't synced,
if they currently are set to sync. ...

Then rename the "Bookmarks.bak" file to "Bookmarks"

WHAT I FINALLY DID TO FIND BOOKMARKS AND PROFILE IS Finding your profile without opening Firefox COPY THIS TO SEARCH IN START

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

LOCATED RECENT PROFILE (5-4-19 WAS MOST RECENT) MOVED TO DESKTOP WENT TO BOOKMARKS SHOW ALL BOOKMARKS IMPORT AND BACKUP RESTORE CHOSE FILE GOT BOOKMARKS FROM DESKTOP COPY

THE BOOKMARKS AND PROFILE WERE NOWHERE ELSE TO BE FOUND FROM THE OTHER SOLUTIONS
