download button on what? where?
please make your question more detailed! :D
Thank you for your response. I want to download a webpage (I want to store the html response of an Arduino device in my smartphone). In Chrome there is a download button in the top line. I assumed there would be one in Firefox as well.
There's no download button in Firefox. There's only 'Save webpage as PDF'. see How to save a page as a PDF on Firefox for Android.
This is unexpected! Thanks for the explanation.
I am new in this community support forum, and it is also an interesting topic for me.
Saving as PDF really cool option / alternative, since it renders all in that web page, because save as HTML or all content may not save all stuff.
However, sometimes I also want to save some pages (with or without all images and content not just html source code). Is this in the product development backlog / pipeline, I guess we need to check. If there is enough justification, demand, priority and available volunteer resources, why not.
as a potential workaround for html code view & editing, of course you can use source code view functionality, there you can select all html code and share with your favorite android html editor, not sure if this helps.
Let me know if you have any other alternative options / workarounds

Interresting idea. But to save the info, again a PDF is needed, so usefull on specific occasions (as you mentioned).
Click on three dots menu button on upper right corner and then on tools therein you will get downoad and login both options
Maybe the Dutch version is missing tools option or is the tools option limited: The Extra option has only 2 options: 'Downloads' and 'Aanmeldingen' (Pagina gave the option to save as PDF and Paginabron bekijken=display source). I did not find the download button under Instellingen (settings)
