Hi f3000,
did you try the ublock origin addon?
Can you attach a screenshot?
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
Thanks, TyDraniu I'll try it. cor-el, that's not necessary at all - it's clear without a screenshot, just go to YouTube and you'll see what I'm talking about - an ad in the top of the site right above videos.
I installed uBlock Origin, didn't change any settings, it's marked as enabled, but ad on YouTube is still there.

Hello f3000,
If what you're seeing looks anything like this (see screenshots), then adblockers won't block them I'm afraid. It's YouTube trying to get you to subscribe to YouTube Premium. You can just click on the closing X in the upper right corner. Maybe contact YouTube Help about removing that "nag", but I don't think that will do you any good though .....
Thanks, McCoy, that's exactly what I'm talking about, but there's not only YouTube Premium being showed, just any ad can be there. I can close it indeed.

It's not just these kind of YouTube "nags" that you're seeing ?
Any other kind of ads should be blocked by your adblocker .....
Like I mentioned before : I don't think that these YouTube ads (if you can even call them "ads") will be blocked by adblockers.
If I'm logged in then I don't see those ads.
Anyway, that container has this selector: #masthead-ad
userContent.css :
@-moz-document domain(youtube.com) { #masthead-ad { display:none!important; } }
