Hi rtrombetta, sorry to hear about the crash and thank you for the report.

Mysteriously, the crash report indicates that the version of Firefox that crashed was Firefox 61.0.1 and not Firefox 68.0. Is it possible that you have two versions of Firefox installed on your system?

jscher2000, hello and thank you for reaching out. I have encountered a mystery myself. Seems that I am no longer able to save or print pdf using Firefox...i checked all of my setting, however I am not an IT person, but have been using Acrobat and Firefox for many years and this is truly frustrating to me. I am able to print and save pdf's with other browser. I have spent the last few days uninstalling and reinstalling multiple applications in the hopes that something went wacky in the background.

I would so appreciate some help.

Since your email, I have deleted and uninstalled any Mozilla application and files and reinstalled the lastest Firefox....and am encountering the same problem.

Kindly, RTrombetta

A 'ShutDownKill' means something in the browser stopped working.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hi RTrombetta, what method are you using and is there a message? For example:

  • Viewing a web page, click Print on the menu or press Ctrl+p -- is there a specific error message?
  • Viewing a web page, click click the Acrobat icon on the toolbar (if you have the paid version of Acrobat) -- is there a specific error message?
  • Viewing a PDF in Firefox's built-in PDF viewer, click the printer icon on the viewer's toolbar -- is there a specific error message?

Hello J and Fred, I have tried all the you advise: safe mode, CTL P, and using the addon tool. I just now was trying to load an image, however I just found out that am not able to do that now either - crashed again.

I'll send the new crash report.

Thank you for not giving up on me: )
