SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT after updating to version 66.0
after updating Firefox to v66.0, neither was I able to open pages like Wikipedia, Paypal etc nor any of my customers' websites.
This link helped me by saying to delete the SiteSecurityServiceState.txt file in the profile directory: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1162567
Since it isn't the first time this happened after an update, I wonder if it wouldn't be possible to provide such solutions on the respective error page. Even better, of course, if Firefox would automatically empty that file in such cases. Searching for a solution on the web brings up weird solutions for long outdated Firefox versions and the solution I found on these support pages has already been archived. After all such a problem is killing the work flow - and quite honestly I wonder how normal users and non English speakers will get along.

Hi Katswiri, the SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT code doesn't come up here very often (Advanced Search). I'm very surprised you get it after every update.
The Knowledge Base articles on this support site can be edited by any motivated user. If you want to create a new section for this code, that would be great. There is an "Editing Tools" section in the left column. You can edit the article directly, or you can a new discussion with some proposed language.
Hi and thanks for your answer. I didn't say it happens after every update but I remember it occuring at least twice before. - Okay, I'll take a look at the knowledge base to see if I get along with its handling.
