Firefox doesn't need a Password to be able to use Firefox. But each update for Firefox does prompt the user to signup for a Firefox Account, or possibly to sign-in to an existing Firefox Account.

If it is the former (to signup for a Firefox Account), just ignore that message which should only appear once - on first launch after the update is installed.
