The portable Firefox is basically Firefox but with a custom launcher that keeps everything self contained which means it is good for say running off a usb flash drive for example.

So yes the desktop Firefox and portable Firefox installed in their own folders should be fine as the Profile on portable Firefox is self contained so it should not interfere with your Profile(s) being used with desktop Firefox.

Hello yeto,

they should be able to run without any problems. the android version uses the gecko engine (like default Firefox on PCs). the ios version may run into some problems though due to the way it functions.

The OP was talking about the desktop Firefox from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and the portable Firefox from https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
