Delete account without access
I recently lost access to my Firefox account (I lost my authenticator, and backups - I know, what's the point of a backup if it isn't secure? You live, and learn.)
Anyway, I was wondering how I can get in touch to request the account be deleted? I don't need the data floating around in limbo.
Thanks

You can only remove the account if you can access it. Most data on the Sync server expires automatically, but some data like the history can take a lot of time.
If you do not have recovery codes or otherwise aren't able to connect to the Firefox account then reset the Firefox Sync password to see if that gives access to the account and disable two factor authentication. You may have to try this more than once to be able to disable 2FA or delete the account. Previous Firefox Account Recovery Codes expire when new ones are created.

Thanks for the reply. Tried resetting the password to no avail.
I guess I'll let the data expire as you mentioned.
Thanks for the response!
I don't care about retrieving my data, I just want someone to release my email account from FireFox account servers, delete all the data and then I can begin and create a new account with the same email address.
This is an unacceptable process for end users who simply misplace their Recovery Code and can no longer authenticate using 2-Factor.
There should be a process in which an end user can provide enough information about the account to allow them either access or the ability to delete the account - simply advising us to create a new account is not a solution, it's a band-aid.
I would be happy to confirm my identify in full in exchange for someone who can delete my entire account. I would like to continue using your product but not if this is the kind of support we will be receiving from your company.
Thank You,
