Hi

You cannot connect Firefox for Android to Chrome. To move your bookmarks across you will need to:

  1. Install Firefox on a desktop computer alongside a copy of Chrome and move your bookmarks across. This guide will help.
  2. Sign into a Firefox Account on the desktop copy of Firefox and let the bookmarks sync.
  3. Sign into the same account in Firefox for Android and let the bookmarks sync.

why cant android firefox import directly from android chrome? I thought android is open source. To have to use PC chrome and PC firefox (I avoid the term microsoft as much as possible) in order to get chrome bookmarks into firefox bookmarks just so firefox can sync the android firefox seems a bit redundant (and ridiculous)

Android does not allow any app to access data that is from another app. This prevents Firefox from seeing the Chrome bookmarks information.
