Why is the plugin container freezing firefox, right after a flash area is used?

So I've had this issue for a while now. Where the plugin fires up when-ever I use flash, then when I click off of it, it freezes my firefox to a point where I can't do anything with the browser anymore, as its unresponsive.

The followings things I've discovered snap it out of this state; 1. Right-clicking on the taskbar preview of firefox. (left clicking freezes even more) 2. Killing the task 'Plugin_container.exe' in the task manager.

I've re-installed firefox (properly) and the same for the flash plugin. Neither had fruitful results. At first I thought my adblocked was to blame, but wether it's turned on or off, the same thing happens when click on a link of the same page the flash is running off.

I'm on Windows 10, with both flash (31) and firefox (63 64-bit) to the latest version. Closing the tab in which flash is active before browsing further is also a loophole to this problem. But this wasn't a problem before. Hence my question.
