Firefox will no longer allow me to log into many of my accounts. Several sites that I frequent will not allow me to log into my account. I type in my info and click the "enter" button and get no response. Other sites I frequent will not allow me to enter search information. Reverb.com is an example.

Got a suggestion from a friend to "refresh" Firefox. Don't know anything about it but it seems to have restored everything back to normal again.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is the exact error messages?

There is no error message. Here's an example. I'll go to Reverb's site and enter an item to search for. I hit ENTER and there is no response. Earlier this morning I went to my bank's site. I hit the LOG IN button and a small window opens (not the normal one) but it won't allow me to type in anything. Other accounts have also had their oddities about them. Some of the buttons on eBay for example aren't responding.
