Firefox Developer Edition crashes when closing
Recently, my Firefox Developer Edition seems to keep crashing when I close it. However, the Mozilla bugreport windows doesn't pop up, instead it shows the default windows crash. I tried clearing my offline cache and trying to narrow it down to plugins, however, this didn't have any results. Also disabling the accessibility services didn't help at all. Thanks in advance for your help.

Anything in about:crashes for time and date ? If so copy with the bp- up to 5 in a Reply
Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" in case that makes a difference?
You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
No, sadly there are no crashes in about:crashes. I also don't use the clear history option. I will try creating a new profile and seeing if that fixes the crash.
EDIT: Sadly, it also didn't.

Do you get the Windows crash reporter immediately or does this takes longer (i.e. Firefox is first hanging)?
Does the latest Beta crash as well ?
Maybe revert to a previous DE version that you know worked for now and hope that the next version works better.
I get the Windows Crash reporter almost immediatly (even two times). I'll try the Beta version and see if it fixes the error.
