First thing to do is to update Adobe Flash. You have an older version Shockwave Flash 28.0 r0 currently installed for Firefox. https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

And if that doesn't solve those crashes, work on getting the Crash Report ID's. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-asking-support

I have updated Adobe Flash to 29.0

My computer still crashes when I try to use the Mathletics website.

I tried to look at a Crash Report IS - it is all mumbo jumbo to me.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

I do not understand the response.

My original question was whether in order to use the Mathletics site, I ned to use a browser other than Firefox.

Firefox also freezes when I try to access this site: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

anyone have any ideas on that?

Hi, the issue is that there are some bugs. These have been flagged in the report that we can not help with those as the Developers are dealing with it in a update I would think.

Is there a reason you are going to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html ? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/set-adobe-flash-click-play-firefox

Please try this : Find the Dos Command Prompt ( Windows key + X ) and right click and run as Administrator or Powershell and run as Admin and Copy/Paste : DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Reboot after.

Please : go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check (put a tick in the box) the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.

Please search for Device Manager and make sure that Windows 10 has not replaced your Video Card Drivers with Microsoft's. If it has please download and install your Drivers. (Could have helped with that but no info came with your question)

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

This is much too hard. I do not want to damage the rest of my soft ware or computer. And I do not have any expertise to tell what is safe and what is not. Since the only thing I cannot access is Mathletics, I think it is safer to tell my sons teacher that my son should use Mathletics while he is at school.

Try to set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the about:addons page ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins) to see if that has effect.

Yes I can change it from "Always Activate" to "Ask to Activate".

Now when I click on a task within Mathletics, an icon appears in the centre of the page which says Run Adobe.

If I click on it, it appears to start loading something but it never finishes what ever it is supposed to be doing.

The person above who suggested that the problem may have arisen because of an update to Microsoft Windows might be correct - since I did have an update to Windows a few days ago and that is when Mathletics stopped working on Firefox.

This will be hard for anyone whom not registered on that site to see what is happening here.
