Please note you are not updating your video card drivers. Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/88355/Intel-HD-Graphics-520 I notice some errors in them. Keep them updated as old and or corrupted drivers cause issues.

You have some adware/malware on your system and need to use a anti-malware program to scan. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware (note some of the URL's maybe out dated but you need to scan with several) and https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ and https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/9573-im-infected-what-do-i-do-now/ Keep the reports that are generated. If you decide to delete, google what you are deleting as you do not want to delete something just because it has a offer page to update.

Note : Firefox 56.0.2 is current release https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Full Version Installer Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

As the http://fvdmedia.com/fvd-welcome-ff/ page shows this is due to the Flash Video Downloader extension you have installed from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/flash-video-downloader/ as you can see in you more system details on right of your OP.

You can check the home page setting.

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

You can check for problems with preferences.

Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename/remove the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in current Firefox releases.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
