No audio though HDMI with Firefox; (Chrome works).

When I connect my Toshiba laptop to my LG TV using HDMI and open a website in the Firefox browser that has streaming video with sound, the sound continues to play through the laptop. When I open the same website in Chrome the sound plays through to the TV. I also tried Microsoft Edge (which I'm not fond of) and it also did NOT play sound to the TV. I am sure I used to play this site in Firefox recently and had the sound go through to the TV but now for some reason it does not. I don't believe I have changed any settings so I am at a loss to find a solution. Thank you in advance for any help that can be provided.
