When using Firefox to access web pages, frequently a full orange page appears and takes over browser. Firefox download is requested. When downloaded and run, a black dialog box opens showing a basic progress line and %. When complete, I try to return to my previous web page and any input or even the existing web page is gone. Very annoying as this event occurs frequently even if I complete the update.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.
