I work on a few websites & handle accounts for entire family .Firefox has Always saved my usernames .. I never allow passwords as have used same password manager for 10 yrs for all .Today 1st time ever enter 1st initial only to find all blank . If need to sign in with entire username & unit # as well as enter in each unit , 15 minutes work becomes 3 hours & already working 16 hrs a day to handle all for entire family . Cannot use referesh as I don't see Roboform toolbatr & extension anymore & will remove the manager used with all details of all for 10 yrs ..

Please find a way to help me . I found Dashlane never installed & uninstalled that. Updated Adobe Flash as requested by Firefox but that was after the issue began . Spent entire day searching for the problem. Exhausted , Weakest arena Lack PC skills I use Firefox Only , keep pinned tabs to restore on start up & must have my auto username & email saved .

Installed Plug-ins

Shockwave Flash 14.0 r0 Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.

Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.

Flash Player Version: 24.0.0.194

Are you using the Password Manager in Firefox, or are you using something else?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

Have you been using Roboform as an external Password Manager for Firefox?

If so, if that has stopped working in Firefox see the Roboform website for an updated version of their Firefox add-on. https://www.roboform.com/for-firefox-windows

And if you have disabled the Firefox Password Manager (now called Logins Manager), those "usernames" weren't being saved in the Logons Manager. That "username" data was probably being saved as "form history" in the Form & Search History feature 'cache' inside Firefox. Form & Search History is saved to its own 'cache' which is rather transitory by nature; IOW, its not permanent as is easily deleted or overwritten. So it's not unusual if that data us gone from Firefox now. "Or maybe Roboform needs a "kick" from the "autocomplete data" to start working? Merely speculation on my part, as I have never used Roboform and have no idea exactly how it works.

My love & gratitude ,

You're Amazing . Sadly not solved & truthfully only effecting ONE program I work on daily .Handle 7 accounts for all loved ones & requires a lot of work , rewards will be enormous & well orth the time ...

Toolbar there , anywhere I want to log into , sutomatically click & in . Problem here , each account owns over 1,000 units I purchase for each daily .

Simple to just enter 1st initial of username & immediately drops down all not deleted by me for that username . Once in , need do exact same to verify unit in & purchasing new unit under . Next same with usrneme & number of new purchase . For 7 diff ppl , extremely time consuming .Even when reach page to pay , no saved prior amount nor prior amount needed to add that day ..

I use IObit Advanced Ultimate System for anti virus , malware , uninstaller , driver booster , clean , fix , etc . Never added their p/w manager as Roboform has all details on All for 10 yrs ..

They've been requesting uninstall multiple times dail of exact same as you ! Finally with your support , I agreed ! Wth , refused to uninstall as required by blah , blah , blah .. No option wthout song n dance to remind that already have Shockwave Flash 24 , they have it when scroll down ..

I'm a people person & had to learn all as in Israel in area without ONE person , course etc in English . MO thought Np , teach myself only to find English words never head of .....

Wish you were here , all 4 responses , 2 from you dearest heart ... Will await EST to open & call a live Roboform person as last response was 1st EVER in 10 yrs that gave long response totally unrelated to question about NEW Roboform version supported by Firefox for Windows 7 etc , as said Firefox not supporting TODAY ...

That was another reaponse from the 4 awesome responses had ...

With my Love & Gratitude Always XOX

My Dearest Fred McD ,

The problem was solved finally .... realized on one of my Firefox search through Options , that forms & search content box was not ticked ...

Tried it & next am all back as usual , I'd Never been there & a few days later same thing & again found unchecked ...

So grateful for all the help ..

I have IObit Advanced Care System , Uninstaller , Drive booster etc ...

It's been telling me from day 1 to uninstall Shockwave as insecure & causes crashes which I do experience ..

Was thrilled to get your advice , but when after yrs of their request to uninstall , they wouldn't as says "need for ( forgive me , whatever it does )

Daily comes up at least 3x a day & as you say I do have last one & new one ...

Do I really need shockwave ? If I do , do you think I should follow your Uninstall directions IF IObit doesn't over ride ?

Need to do as truthfully does cause one especially important site to shut down PC regularly & only required to be on for 5 mins max ...

Not 100% that that's the cause , but with you & their warnings for yrs , seems like common sense .Also requst uninstall Bonjour ? No clue what thatis for ?

With my Love & Gratitude Always , nsirota - Ty ... xox

The Firefox developers keep track of all programs/add-ons that are installed into the browser. Some are known to cause problems while other are just no longer compatible. In such cases, that program is Black Listed. Meaning it is blocked from running.

As to Shockwave Flash, the older versions have security problems and were Black Listed. Use the instructions above to install the current version.

Many websites are moving to the HTML5 player, but many still use Flash.
