Taking college classes that require Firefox withActiveX controls to be enabled. Please tell me what & how to get this on my Windows 10 system asap! (01/12/2017)

I have a PC running Windows 10. Use Blackboard to get to college class materials online and to connect to online textbooks and ALEKS (McGraw Hill). Have latest Firefox loaded and need to make certain that my system will allow me to see/use ActiveX controls.

Tried looking it up on your forum, but I could not understand what/how/where to make all of this happen.

Downloaded ff-activex-host-master.zip from Github and need to know what next to do.
