Every sense updates 43-44.0.2 firefox lags, freezes, crashing,
When i try playing facebook games are the worst can't even play a game on firefox or IE. so i thought i would give opera a try no lag, all games but 1 work fine. opera is ok but i rather use firefox i have clean firefox, uninstalled firefox, neither helped the problem after installing it again. so i uninstalled it 2nd eime deleted all mozilla firefox folders under program files x86, users. i reinstalled firefox it did not help still have same problem. I even tried creating a new profile that failed, win + r or start search, typed firefox -P or -ProfileManager neither did nothing
For the longest time firefox has been the best browser untill now
anybody help with the problem i am having?

FredMcD: when i clicked on the plugin link firefox update. i waited till it was done and clicked on link again then plugins shows only show 4 plugins 3 was up todate 1 was in research...

what ever the problem was it has been fixed i was just browsing on the web it seems much faster so i tried facebook a game there was no lag..

You are talking about Firefox and IE, which are two different systems. So the problem may be the computer.
check this:
- see if there are updates for your graphics drivers

- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

I know firefox and Ie is 2 different systems i was making a point (opera works fine but firefox and IE don't I tried Avant browser also no lag there either. so i am guessing it something to do with firefox.
It is not just the games and or videos even browsing the web lags, Although games is the worst then videos, Then web browsing. Downloading not a problem there
If it is my computer all browsers would have lag, crash, freeze, Opera works fine. i tested my wireless card and modem, did virus scans, did windows error chkdsk /f and /r all test found no problems..
video card is up to date.
disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (windows system32 macromed flash). I added ProtectedMode=0 to mms.cfg file (windows syswow64 macromed flash) there is no mms.cfg file in this folder
(disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin) i have tried this did not help it is still disabled..
like i stated in previous post, firefox.exe -p or -ProfileManager does nothing wont even open or if it supposed it is not doing so.

It could have been a corrupt file that was overwritten.
