There is a work around besides the Undo Closed Tabs Button add-on.

Remove the "close tab" X on the tab. Then use an add-on like these to close that tab. Because you need to double click, fewer accidents.

Close Tab by Double Click {web link} Allows you to close tabs by double-clicking on them.

Rights To Close {web link} Right double-click anywhere on web page to close current tab.

When do you want to see this message?

When you close a window or close Firefox or in other situations?

Note that you can restore tabs you closed by accident via the right-click context menu of the Tab bar or via the History menu or via the Ctrl+Shift+T keyboard shortcut.

Thank you for your respond! I have never had any troubled with closing tabs and I got asking about it every time because I use one window in multi tabs mode. But! For me important to get notification about closure of one (single) tab! For example. By mistake in closure tab I can close the tab with unsaved data or text. So, I would like to find solution's to secure myself in this situation by getting notification. Have you any idea about it for closing each tab, not all window? Thank you!

If you accidentally close a tab,

This extension allows you to undo closed tabs via a toolbar button or the right-click context menu.

As far as I know, there is no built-in warning for closing a single tab (unless it is the very last tab open in Firefox).

Some sites include a script to ask you whether you want to leave the page if you have unsaved changes in a form. I think ideally all sites would have this feature, but unfortunately that is not the case.

As the previous replies note, Firefox does allow you to re-open a closed tab (or, using the History menu, a closed window) and should restore what was on the tab at the time it was closed. It usually works for me, and you don't need an add-on toolbar button for that if you can remember how to do it.
