The help button does not work. It's like it's not there. I can click on it, but nothing happens.

That did it. Unfortunately, the extension is one that I use/need far more than the help button. I can always start in safe mode if I need the help button.

At least I now know that I'm not crazy going. :)

Thanks.

hi, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

How do I start Firefox in safe mode? </blockquote>

Never mind. I figured it our (my "duh" moment). The help button works in safe mode, but not in full mode.

Sorry it takes me so long. I get sidetracked and forget I have questions pending.

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing the problem by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via *"3-bar" menu button > Exit (Power button)

  • Windows: File > Exit
  • Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File > Quit

Is the help menu not working as well?

You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar.

What extension is causing this issue?

You can contact the developer of the extension for support or check if there is an (developer) update available.

The menu bar shows. It's just that when I tap help nothing happens. The problem is the Swagbucks button extension. Nothing I can't live with.
