My computer is crashing many many times during the day. i have google to fix this problem and gone back to the default clean slat e of MOz Firefox. Nothing. I downloaded Chrome and had no problem until i went back on Firefox. Spent the morning getting Firefox off my computer. I have submitted a number of crash reports and then stopped that. Not sure what to do now. i have tried to take PDFlite off the computer...it won't do it. thanks so much for all your help..very appreciated. sincerely, Kate Van Rijn

Did you try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox?

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You are currently using the beta release, does the current Firefox 38.0.5 release crash as well?

thank you. due to the wide range of error signatures, i would speculate that your hardware might be involved in the issue. can you test the integrity of your RAM with a tool like www.memtest.org?

I went to memtest.org and the amount of info there is overwhelming...is there One thing i can click to test the hardware that you think is whacky?

I also disabled the hardware accerlerant in tools.

ok, unfortunately the memtest tool is rather advanced & takes a couple of steps... you could try it with the tools built-into windows as well (this will probably take some time so you could run the tests overnight): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/diagnosing-memory-problems-on-your-computer
