Why Mozilla support will not close even if i reboot computer

there is no way to close mozilla support. There is no drop down menu. I've had computers since the 1980's and never ran into this. Shutting the computer down and starting up produces the mozilla support page. No options available to get out of here or to delete mozilla firefox.
