Fred ,how long do you usually wait to initiate an update on your own firefox?

Not until after I see the responses from other users.  ;-)

Could you show me the post you read? What is the flaw? Would rolling back to 36.0.4 fix this? I wanted to do that,but i wasn't sure if it could potentially create other issues?

It was one post among many. I don't remember what one.

I suggest re-installing v36. And change the update setting to ask.

It is set to ask, i just thought it would be fine.... normalcy bias, the last (if not all) updates have been fine for me

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Is this to me?

Yes, but technically there's still issues with the 35 version being reported ,does that mean that you're still using version 34 or below?

Also, was that post you were refering to written by the programming team and could i read their comments on the matter of new updates ?

I just read a post; Firefox 37 has a flaw. Upgrades have been suspended. Install an older version of Firefox {web link}

The updates to Fx 37.0 was not due to a flaw per say but mainly due to certain crash conditions users were having on Windows. The Firefox 37.0.1 which came out yesterday was to fix that. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/37.0.1/releasenotes/
