Firefox is the car, and the add-ons are the options. Some or many may want one thing, but very few want another. By using add-ons, you get the options you want to have, and don't have to worry about the ones you don't. It's YOUR choice.

No there isn't. If you want to edit a PDF document you need to save it to your computer and then open that document in a full PDF reader program that has editing capabilities.

The PDF viewer that is built into Firefox doesn't have editing capabilities.
