can't access internet after upgrade - tried fix, didn't work
running win 7, firefox upgraded this morning and no unable to access internet. internet explorer connects fine. I tried fix - running Norton 360 - removed firefox from allowed programs and added back in - rebooted system, still unable to connect.

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select Network. Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. Check the settings.
I've tried this - yes Norton is up to date. I removed firefox and re-added from the programs allowed in the firewall. This did not correct the issue.
