When traveling in India from USA I can no longer send or receive email through Thunderbird or the ISP email server directly. 1. I receive what looks like a partial error message, At the top of the message box it reads: "Error with account MyEmailName@cfl.rr.com" and in the body of the error message, "An error occurred with the pop3 mail server. Mail server pop-server.cfl.rr.com responded." I cannot find what the response is unless it's to what is at the top of the error message box. 2. In the message area at the bottom of Thunderbird I see, "Error with account MyEmailName@cfl.rr.com: Connected to pop-server.cfl.rr.com..." So it seems I am connected to my ISP mail server. 3. Also going directly to the ISP mail server www.webmail.cfl.rr.com also fails to allow me to retrieve emails. 4. I have no problem accessing my backup Web based Gmail account but 99% of my emails are stored on Thunderbird since I very rarely use Gmail. HELP!
