Recently I had to switch to Firefox due to my job. I ported all my bookmarks and settings but unlike Chrome, after you sign out of a session on a computer that isn't your home desktop, the bookmarks bar does not go away after you sign out of a session. Chrome does this beautifully without a hitch. I tried to find an option on Firefox but I'm sure there is none.

Is there anyway for Mozilla to implement this? Are they working on it? Any help appreciated.

Are you using Sync to synchronize your bookmarks on that "other desktop"?

If so, Firefox Sync doesn't do a temporary synchronization and then delete that data as Firefox is closed on that "other desktop".

As far as a feature like that being implemented in the future; it's possible, but not probable. IMO, a feature like that is outside the parameters for what Sync does. Keep in mind that no one here works for Mozilla, we're users like you.

I sign into my account and then sync the bookmarks. After signing out, I close and restart to check if bookmarks are gone but they're not.

A feature like this shouldn't be difficult to implement. Chrome does it beautifully and it's completely vital to me since I move around between 2 computers at my university and my laboratory.

Such a shame.....

Thank you.
