Whenever I hold down the mouse button or space bar to speed up a video by 2x, it seems to let out a small crackle / pop, it wouldn't be as annoying if it only happened one time but it happens practically anytime I do it, sometimes it's when I first press it down, and sometimes it's when I let go.

I've been using Firefox for years and never had this issue until like 3-4 days ago I'd say, and it's a small thing but it adds up constantly and makes the experience fairly annoying, I tested the audio on google chrome extensively and it doesn't seem to happen there so I have to assume it's a Firefox issue.

Would love to see if there's a way to fix this.

Please help me as i want to record some gameplay but it keeps getting squished & it is pissing me off. I have asked on reddit & people were unhelpful & telling me to just buy another computer. this is annoying as it is causing me when playing games it causes text to be unreadable at times. Thanks in advance.

I can't access two websites in Firefox, but I can access them on my phone and in other browsers. One site is Facebook, and the other is https://www.gildertech.com/forum/

I logged into firefox on new computer and synched but none of my bookmarks or passwords showed up -- what can I do to restore? Can I import them from iphone? Note that my old computer doesn't work, so I can't import files from it yet.

I have various sites that won't accept site login credentials but work on other browsers and Firefox is running very slow. If I completely shut down and restart my computer, the logins will work for a few minutes but then stop working again. I've completely uninstalled Firefox several times, deleted my profile and created a new profile. Ran Firefox in troubleshooting mode with extensions turned off. None of these have had any effect. I recently saw a post that this might be a Firefox issue with version 154.00. I'm currently running version 154.01. Is this actually a Firefox issue or do I need to continue to look further into my computer and router for the problem?

I have a cmdfile to open specific news websites in a private window. The syntax of the cmdfile line is

start "" "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private-window %*

with a "timeout /t 2 /nobreak" call for a 2 secs pause between each to give things time to get going (firefox seems to trip up if I rush it with URLs using start command .. probably understandable).

This works, but all "windows" open in a new tab in the existing or initial private window instance. I want them to each open in their own instance of a private window. It seems to be behaving like the option -new-tab rather than a genuine new private window for each URL.

What option/s do I need to use to get a true new private window with just the specified URL open in a single tab for each URL I have coded?

It seems the default for allowing sites to store data locally is backwards (for privacy).

You should be able to set the DEFAULT to "Allow all sites to store data locally FOR THE SESSION ONLY," and then type in the sites that you would like to allow to store data locally for more than one session (or block entirely).

Is there a way to do this? There are not many sites I would like to allow permanent local data storage, so it wouldn't be such a terrible chore to type in their URLs. The opposite is true for sites I would want to allow ONLY FOR the one SESSION - that is a HUGE chore. This appears to be a privacy & security oversight - can you fix this?

It says to drag and drop but that does not work. I minimized both windows and dragged the one tab to the 'larger' window and nothing happens. My email keeps opening in a new window and it never did before. It was a tab in my original window, and now it is so much harder for me to work.

I'm not super familiar with Firefox VPN as I don't use it often but I was using it for a Canadian page earlier and then all of a sudden it stopped working and I can't access it anymore. What's going on?

Firefox new today stopped from loading some of my own websites that are http. Some http sites still work. Sends me to my hosting site https://www.forexample.org/login_up.php Cleared all history and caches. No change. Turned off http to https. No change. Again, just started today with no other changes on my part.

My desktop Firefox (version 155.0.1) has recently became unable to consistently access the Web site at this Web site this Web site. Chrome successfully accesses the site 100% of the time. Firefox's connection failures are intermittent, unpredictable, and usually go away on their own after varying time intervals (sometimes can't connect for up to 24 hours). I see status messages saying Firefox is trying to connect to the site, but it eventually gives up and times out.

I cleared the Firefox cache, but that had no effect. I don't recall making any significant changes to the Firefox settings lately. Any suggestions on what to look at/try would be greatly appreciated.

(Yes, I know the site doesn't use https: Its protocol is outside my control).
