bold text there seems to be multiple open pages (hidden from view) of my sign-in attempts to get into my outlook email account. it seems that each time i try to sign in, firefox opens several panes and thus, microsoft often blocks my attempt to sigh in to outlook. anyone know how to fix this? thanks very much!!

I changed my email and my password for my Firefox account, on my primary laptop (MacBook Pro 2010). Both my smartphones (Android) synchronized afterwards without a problem, but my second laptop (MacBook Air 2020) asks me to sign into Firefox with the old email and does not accept the new email. When I put the new email, it gives the message in the attached screenshot (in German, sorry if the translation is wrong): "Cost limit is reached. Profile was previously synchronized with another account. Create a new profile to synchronize it." But I do not want to create a new profile, I do not want any subprofile that I would have to build up from scratch, and it is no solution to the original profile lingering around on the second laptop without ever being able to be connected to again.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from the second laptop, hoping the sign-in-data would be removed and I could just sign in to Firefox with my new email address, but no. It shows the same sign-in-form with the old email address and the same message.

I need help urgently. I have to travel and can only take the second smaller laptop with me. I hope someone can help me.

Dear Ty: I appreciate your efforts to help me, unfortunately, it did not work. FireFox is still at 115.30.0. Any other thoughts?

I thought there might be some software I could download to spoof the Chase system into thinking Firefox was a later version,

I just want to know WHERE the notifications land? I have a very old macbook pro (mid 2010) so I have a sneaking suspicion firefox is trying to tell me something about not being supported, yadayadayada, BUT where are the notifications? The OS am currently using is High Sierra 10.13.6 CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT HERE? I enabled two-step authentication on my Firefox Account by clicking on "Add". Everything went OK. (It was the first time I enabled it. I've been negligent.) The "name" (email) on the token generated by my 2FA App was the primary email of my Firefox Account.

Then I clicked on "Change", and followed through the same steps as when 2FA was "Added". Now, the "name" on the generated token was neither the primary or the secondary email of my Firefox Account ! The name on the token was the email I used as the primary email of my Firefox account back in 2020 ! Despite the wrong name (email), the 2FA code worked fine for signing in. How and why does this happen? What is the intended purpose of the "Change" option?

I fixed the name on the token by Disabling then Adding 2FA again.

A Curiosity?: When I try to sign into Firefox account, 2 emails are offered by Firefox - the current primary email for the account, and the previous primary email for the account. The second email IS in Logins, but not for accounts.firefox.com. The 2nd email is rejected if it is tried to be used. Where is Firefox getting the previous account email from?
