Hello, I've been getting this press and hold authentication the last several months I press and hold then release when the check mark shows, and it still won't let me into the webpages. Happens sporadically, real estate, walmart, and some others. Attached is a sample.

Can you tell me how I can stop it?

Suddenly today when I tried to use facebook, already logged in, I got the message "Account Temporarily Unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes." Yet facebook works fine on Safari and Chrome.

I cleared my settings, except cookies, turned off extensions and restarted firefox which did not help.

What else can I do?-Martha

I asked on 11 January 2026 Help for finding back my cookies. Got an answer by e-mail, but this disn't help to find my cookies and so I cannot manage these. Who can tell me please where I can find all my cookies? Thanks in advance. Regards Theo Koeppen

As you can see always ask where to save is selected but whenever I download a PDF file it doesn't ask me and it just saves to downloads. How can I fix that?

It's pretty much in the title. My in box freezes up and no emails arrive. Microsoft will drop drop down a box asking me if I want to open THUNDERBIRD and says make sure I'm using a trusted server - app??? I don't understand any of this!

I received a scam (verified by Apple) that my credit card was used for an Apple Store purchase. Now, that link is stuck on Firefox and I can't do anything without dialing their support number, which I am reticent to do. So, Firefox is unusable for me now. I tried to restart my iphone, to no avail.

Can you help providing a sync from the last 30days. Using a backup computer as my current computer is being repaired and bookmarks/passwords will no sync on this machine

Often after restarting firefox 148.0 … … 

… … for whatever reason, it comes up "clean".   Despite asking for tabs to be restored, they often are not.

I have about 7 tabs that I have pinned (i.e., gmail, penzu, contacts, etc).

Is there a way to have this happen automagically when started?

Doesn't seem obvious to me.

Since updating Firefox from a previous version, the browser no longer displays any Unicode emoji characters. Where an emoji would normally be rendered (👁️), the browser instead displays empty space. Websites such as twitter and discord, which use their own artwork for emoji, are unaffected. This has negatively affected my browsing experience.

For illustrative purposes, I will add a series of emoji and include a screenshot of how they are displayed: (😀🙁😡💀). Other characters still display correctly: (β❖♞䷲⎈𐘢𓀺இ). My computer otherwise displays emoji correctly. The issue persists after disabling extensions, and has persisted between computer restarts.

I am using Firefox version 147.0.4 (aarch64) on a Macbook Air running macOS Sequoia 15.5.

Firefox does not react to links.. This has been happening in several web pages. Links that work on Chrome and Safari do not work on Firefox. This is the last example, try to click on the different shoe views on this page: https://www.skechers.com/uno---suited-on-air/183004_NVY.html ...

Firefox suddenly has an AI assistant that pops up on a tool bar on the left side of the screen with a green dot beside it. I want to turn this off and make it disappear, if possible. Please tell me how to do that.
