why does it take 10 to 15 minutes to get my start page open?

well i have set fire fox to open my start page, but after opening my fire fox browser, it takes any where from 10 15 and some 20 minutes to open my start page, and some times it will open after that time then open and close again then finally open. I have the latest fire fox, and already tried all suggested ideas in help none has even come close to fixing my problem. what is going on with fire fox. are they sleeping?

Ok thanks but nothing worked so i went back to fire fox 12.0 and start page downloads fine and fast. and have stuff i lost with 15. thanks any way Starsh1

Well back again with the same problem i had with fire fox 15.0. the same trouble is now with fire fox 16.0. the Mozilla people need to review all the problems listed here, and get them fixed before asking us to download a new version of fire fox, and make sure they are compatible with our add ons, so that they don't have to disable the add ons. so now back to. fire fox 12.0

hello starsh1, you can try to reset firefox, hopefully this will speed things up. please also keep your plugins up-to-date in order to stay safe online...
