web pages are small. Zoom works but needs to be used at each web site. How do I make the zoom the default?

New computer, window 7, hp2009 monitor. All web site are small, font about 8, large margins on either side of web page. Zoom corrects the problem but must be done at each site, each time. Increasing font change text but not page size causing overlaping letters. How do I make the zoomed image the default? Thanks
