When creating difference profiles, do you need to also use another email if your want them separated, ie, work and personal? I now keep getting messages that I have to create a new profile and it seems to be because my email address was already used.

Is this a question about using Sync? If you want to keep Work and Home profiles separate then you need different email addresses as using the same email will get data from connected profiles to get merged.
