I’ve searched the Firefox Add-ons store but haven’t found one that fits this exact need.

You can try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tomato-clock/ or https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/eyecare-protect-your-eyesight/. Both of them remind the user to take a break every time interval (customizable).
