Google Popup asking for sign in - account deleted / outgoing SMTP deleted.

I have three gmail accounts.

I had a fourth, but started getting Google popup asking for password, but on 2nd screen to fill in password, prompt that it is corrupt / cannot fix (see screenshot)

Now, I deleted that gmail account completely - there are no stray references to it (no identities, no outgoing SMTP server... never used calendar or any google add-ons; never have synchronized with anything re: Google)

Note: The account deleted is not in use - former business and has not been used for 5 years.
