Secure Connection Failed! It is continuously checking mail server capability. I have an authentication problem with Thunderbird since the update yesterday 102.8.0. It was working fine before that, but now I can't receive emails, but I can send them.

Secure connection failed The document contains no data. The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

I have checked the IMAP with my protonmail and it is correct - nothing has changed there.
I have gone into my Virus protection and cleared the caches etc.
I have gone into tools and cleared recent history.
i have read through rheems of articles and suggestions on the Mozilla page - but cant fix this problem.

The last email I received was from a regular friend - but an error message came up suggesting that their email/server could not be verified - I clicked to make an exception. I don't know how to get back to this place to undo this exception - in case this is the problem.
