A few days ago I was told via message that firefox will stop support for windows 10. I ungraded my system to windows 11 and downloaded the appropriate version of firefox. Now I'm getting the same message again. Please help. I like firefox but being told continuously that it's no longer supported even though I've upgraded my system to one that is supported is a pain.

The current Firefox Releases (current is 106.0.2) still supports Windows 7, 8 (8.1) 10, and 11 as you can see on https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/106.0.2/system-requirements/

I have not seen any plans to drop support of any older Windows any time soon.

ok I think I see the issue. Your User Agent used to post this thread appears to be Firefox 52.9.0 ESR on Windows XP. In you Question Details > More system details on right of you post it is listed as Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0

So either you have modified your User Agent or UA in some way or you are running Firefox in Windows XP compatibility mode on Windows 10/11 for some reason.
