Have downloaded the latest version and have cleared the cache. Still the problem persists, which by the way just suddenly started two days ago. Don't have a problem with other sites. (Same problem with Chrome.)

It may be about ur wifi or ur IP address. u can check ur fire wall again! If I have a screen shot is will be perfect for me to trouble-shoot ur problem

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
