Automatic redirection to annoying ads!

Whenever, I launch Firefox and browse any content after a few minutes, the page which I am browsing is automatically redirected to an advertisement. If I click the back button, the site which I was browsing has gone and it returns back to the homepage. This is really annoying and I am not able to browse at all in peace due to this automatic redirection. I would be much grateful if someone gives a solution to my problem. Thank You.

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
