open and not save documents

If i want to open a document on internet (pdf etc.) my computer will save it down and then i can open, earlier i could just open it on a new tab and look at it but now my computer want to save it down, how can i fix it??

When you tell Firefox, or any browser, you want to look at some file, it is downloaded to a temporary folder. After a time, the temp folder is cleaned out.

Tell the browser to download the file. Keep it as long as you want. Then delete it what you don't want it anymore.

But it has worked earlier, to just click on it and it opens at a new tab. It´s extreme irritating when i'm studying and opens about 50 pdf a day and then need to sit and delete all..
