OS: Ubuntu 14.04 FF: 44.0

I've read multiple posts of people claiming they have made YouTube 360 degree videos work with various tweaks. I have thus far not been successful.

Attempted: 1) ensuring HTML5 player is preferred 2) media.mediasource.webm.enabled = true 3) media.mediasource.enabled = true 4) user agent spoofing through config 5) user agent spoofing through addons 6) fullscreen mode on video

None of the usual suggestions have worked. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
