I am a long time Chrome user but decided to give Firefox a try for various reasons. 1 like Firefox's ability to highlight and add text comments to articles and documents. One feature lacking, or maybe it exists but I have not discovered it, would be the ability to copy and save all highlights / commnents in an article / document to subsequently use them as a summary, abstract, or digest of main points To preclude having to re read the entire document again And that's wanting to do so. There is a Chrome extension called Highlighter that Does just that , supports the copy all highlights.

This issue started a few weeks ago. Frequently, when I switch from one page to another, I get a pop-up page from some unrelated business or form. I have started to fill out an order form for a trusted business only to find out I am filling out another company's form instead. My page gets hijacked in this manner several times a day. It's not only annoying, but a security issue. One moving company keeps popping up. I am not moving, or even thinking about moving, but I keep getting this company's home page when trying to access other venues.

I don't know if this is related, but I installed Duck Duck Go a while back to avoid Google trackers. A few weeks ago I found that Duck Duck was no longer my preferred search engine and put it back as preferred. Whether coincidence or not, my problems began about that time.

Lastpass for Ubuntu will not install Successfully executing the "keyrings" CLI sequence did nothing to solve the issue. Lastpass works fine on another browser. What is wrong with Firefox?

I've downloaded the Firefox-recommended "search by image" extension. I can't figure out how to actually use it. Watched several videos, but none of those included the "how to use it" aspect.

If someone has time to respond to this, I'll very much appreciate detail and completeness - I'm afraid I'm not very intuitive.

When I select a bookmark to select a web site I have other web sites loading in along with the selected. This just started all of a sudden.

How do I stop it?

I use Lastpass in combination with a Yubico key to manage my secure login to all of my accounts. I use both a laptop and a desktop computer and Windows 11 and Linuxmint operating systems.

I like to have a simple list of what I have in Lastpass and every time I login into my Lastpass vault I would like to have its simple list of contents in the categories that I have organised, rather than its other formats (e.g. ikon view).

I want Firefox to only keep track of how I want Lastpass to look every time I open it, but I want to be able to clear all of my other use of Firefox when I exit the browser.

Can I use the Firefox settings for this purpose and, if so, how do I do that, while maintaining maximum security?

• I am able to convert emails to tasks in Gmail
• I am able to flag emails in outlook to be read into Microsoft To Do
• I can tag emails in Thunderbird but then what?
• I have not seen an extension for this

I have MCI and i need to get tasks organized including todo items in email and calendar apps. Any help would be welcomed.

video downloadhelper is not saving the videos to vdhelper folder any longer. how do I change the folder location for only the video downloadhelper. its going straight to download folder.

Encountered it after the last update. When opening a new tab with a video on YouTube, a message appears that "Adblock plus" and "malwarebytes guard" slow down the browser, while the tab freezes, and even after closing it, it is impossible to open a new tab with a video (empty tabs open). Restarting the browser does not help, only restarting the computer. At the same time, I want to note that I am in Russia, where YouTube is launched only when VPN and similar means of circumventing locks are enabled (I use zapret).

unable to get Download Helper to initialize in my Firefox browser. i have checked and rechecked so many things. how can i fix this so i can dl videos from the internet and watch them?

Is there a simple way to turn this content into presentation slides without copying everything manually? I recently came across MagicSlides AI PPT Maker, which seems to generate presentations from existing content, and I'm wondering if anyone here has tried it or knows similar tools that work well with Firefox.
