I really love thunderbird and want to move away from Outlook.

I am experiencing a delay in Push emails compared to my Outlook app. I am committed to get emails as soon as they are received by the server. For example I've observed recent emails 10min later in Thunderburd than Outlook to my Inbox.

I have my Inbox set to "Enable Push". Is there anything I can do to improve the speed of delivery vs Outlook? Both apps have same settings for Background data, and 'Allow background app usage'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thunderbird has stopped receiving emails. I followed the instructions I found. restet cache, I have enough memory checked login credentials (I have been sending and receiving for months with no problems) restarted phone. 8 am getting no error messages

Thunderbird has stopped receiving emails. I followed the instructions I found. restet cache, I have enough memory, hosting service account space is adequate, checked login credentials (I have been sending and receiving for months with no problems) restarted phone. I am getting no error messages.

This happened with my last email program and I installed Thunderbird after no one could find a problem.

Llevo días intentando añadir una cuenta de outlook a la aplicación del móvil (en el ordenador, tras varios intentos, sí lo he conseguido).

Se trata de una cuenta personal y aunque ya he habilitado IMAP, no me da la opción de habilitar SMTP, que es lo que me está fallando.

El error que aparece es:

"El servidor devolvió el siguiente mensaje: Authentication unsucessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the mailbox."

He probado también a cambiar el servidor por smtp.office365.com, pero tampoco lo consigo de esta forma. ¡Ah! y está con Oauth2 también.

Me tiene un poco desesperada el tema, así que toda ayuda es bienvenida.

Hello, this problem is driving me mad and I am at the point where I give up with Thunderbird

What's happening is "random" emails go into the outbox and stay there, I have no choice but to delete them.

There is no rhyme or reason for this.

The majority of emails send, even to the address that will randomly stay in outbox. !!

I have deleted the account and reinstalled it, used the same settings that are on another account that I don't have a problem with.

I am using android on galaxy tablet.

Anyone have any ideas

I have several email accounts that are hosted at one.com. With all these accounts I cannot retrieve messages from the IMAP-folders other than from the Inbox. I have tried with reinstalling the Thunderbird app, both betaversion and the stable version and subsequently I also have reinstalled all email accounts. I cannot find anything in the settings that solvs this issue. Anyone who knows what the problem can be and how to solve it?

Wenn ich mit meinem Handy Apps öffne, werde ich aufgefordert, einen Bestätigungscode zurückzusenden, der mir per E-Mail zugesandt wird. Habe ich meinen PC dabei: kein Problem. Innerhalb weniger Sekunden erhalte ich den Code. Ohne meinen PC: unmöglich ! Auf meinem Handy erhalte ich die E-Mail erst nach mehreren Stunden. Bis dahin ist der Code abgelaufen, und im Zweifelsfall brauche ich die App nicht mehr. Wenn Sie mir nicht helfen können, die Zeit bis zum Empfang der E-Mails auf "Thunderbird für Android" ebenfalls auf einige Sekunden zu verkürzen, sehe ich mich gezwungen, ein anderes E-Mail Programm zu installieren. Ich war bisher sehr zufrieden mit Thunderbird. Bekommen Sie mein Problem nicht in den Griff, werde ich mit lautstarker Kritik nicht hinter dem Berg halten. mit noch freundlichen Grüßen: Ludger

Hello, I would like help with my issue of not seeing the e-mails I sent on my mobile device through thunderbird in my "INBOX.1sent" folder nor my outbox. I have no evidence that these e-mails even were sent anywhere. I only see the e-mails that I have sent on the Linux version. How do I access the e-mails that I sent on my android version of thunderbird?
